Monel 400 has the following characteristics
Monel400 is an amount of the largest and most versatile, excellent overall performance of corrosion resistant alloys. This alloy has excellent corrosion resistance in hydrofluoric acid and fluorine gas medium, hot concentrated alkali is also excellent in corrosion resistance. Also resistant to neutral solution, water, sea water, air, organic compounds corrosion. An important feature of the alloy is generally not produce stress corrosion cracking, good cutting performance.
